I would have to say Ninjas are cooler.  Pirates have bad teeth, which means more than likely they have stanky breath too.  Their hair does have that tousled, saltwater look, but that simply can not make up for the bad teeth and hygiene.  Plus all that raping and pillaging…not cool.

Ninjas are stealth, controlled individuals. Who doesn’t dig that?!
