for you in the last 2 days? EACH family member, which means each person should have six other people, for all you lazy bones out there….
R-NOTHING! Just kidding, I think the sweetest things he does for me are things he doesn’t even realize he is doing. Sometimes at night I get up to go to the bathroom (graphic I know) and when I come back to bed I am cold. I will scoot up against R and every so often he will roll over and put his arm around me, or maybe just rub my leg a bit, or hold my hand. I love this, because it shows me even in sleep he is thinking about me and knows what I need.
C-He stayed up late on Saturday night, though I know he was playing a game, to take out the puppy for me so I can sleep later on Sunday morning.
J-I went to pick him up at his father’s yesterday and on the way home H fell asleep so it was just the two of us more or less talking. I appreciate that he didn’t edit what he was going to say. He didn’t NOT talk to me thinking, “Oh mom’s not interested.” He told me about a program he watched and shared his opinions.
A-I asked him to empty the dishwasher on Saturday and he did a great job! he took the time to dry the things that were still wet, he paid attention to where he put things, he even dried off the counter top when he was done.
H-Picking up J is a long drive, and R had some things to do with his fish tank. I said it wasn’t a big deal I would get him, and H said he would go. In the car, he said he didn’t want me to be alone, so he came to keep me company.
D-Well, D is two so he is still learning some things. Just this morning, I stepped on one of the little toys littering the floor, and said “OUCH!” He ran over to me and patted my leg and asked if I was ok. When I said yes, he gave me a hug and ran off to finish watching “Olala!” (what he know calls, Olivia, his most favorite show in teh whole wide world!”
