Yep, my birthday is coming up! I will be the big 3-6.  I never understood why women lied about their age.  Is getting older that hard?  That big a deal?  Who knows, maybe I will feel differently when I hit 40?

For my birthday, I would like the flowerbeds on either side of our front stoop to be cleaned up.  Weeds pulled, the ugly bushes pulled up (Ok, they are pretty for about 3 days every spring, but after that they just look dead!) and the soil tilled.  After that I would like pretty river rocks put down, as I am just not a gardener.  Wish I was, as I would love to have a little plot, and grow some veggies with the kids.  Then in the spring or summer, I would like to buy a little fountain from this local store R and I found on the way to Charlottesville.  Something with blues, or maybe greens in it.

So, that is what I want for my b-day-Dirt and rocks!  H is so cute, I showed him some earrings I liked at Target, and he wants to get them for me.  He is just the sweetest little guy!  J has a giftcard to Borders, and I know he has been looking for something to read, but the other day he told me that there just isn’t anything he is really looking for now, but he wanted to get me a book because he knows I love to read.  Last year, C and J saved some of their money and ordered me a lovely necklace, it was a fish as they know I love the water.  And A always writes me a card, telling me how he feels about me and that he thinks I am a cool mom.
