My favorite time of day is about 5:30 in the morning.  I get up early with the puppy, (ok and let me clarify, IF the puppy doesn’t have an accident, cause who wants to clean up doggie doo at 5am!) take him outside, and get to see what the day has in store for us.  This morning, the air was crisp and clean, with just a bit of chill to it, but nothing like the past few weeks!  Then I come inside, feed the puppy and get to sit for a bit.  I can have a cup of coffee, or check my email in peace.  No kids running around yelling, no rushing to get everyone on the bus.  Just me and Shinobi.  Then i take him outside again, and we can relax for about 45 minutes before I have to get A and H up for school.  This is nice, because i have just enough time to watch one of my shows on DVR without having to listen to D asking to watch,”OLA?”  (That’s Olivia for all you folks) or asking for milk.  H asking why I am watching this show, and how he thinks it is boring.  Or A asking a million questions about the characters on said show.

I also like dinner time for the most part.  Yes, it bugs me when no one helps, but as a mother it’s nice to get food ready for your family, to hear the talking amongst the kids and R, and to sit down with everyone.  R and I love hearing about their days, their friends, they tell jokes, and we all laugh.

I wonder if anyone will say the best part of day is the end of it?
