Let’s pick one from Literature, TV and a movie.

Book-Jack West Jr and his motley crew.  West is author Matthew Reilly’s creation, and I will be honest, they aren’t works for literary genius, but they are so much fun!  I bought the latest in the series, 5 Greatest Warriors, and read it in about four hours.  The action is non-stop, the characters have realistic qualities (even if the trouble they get into is over the top), and Reilly is great at creating a ‘movie of the mind.’ My own little term for whether or not I can picture this book actually being made into a movie, and if a writer of an action series can’t do that…well, they lose me as a reader!

TV-This one is a lot harder for me.  I admit that I have my shows that I love to watch.  Again for me my favorite, and this is right now it might change in a month who knows!, is Allison and Joe Dubois from Medium.  Played very well by Patricia Arquette and Jake Weber their marriage is believable!  I think it is easy to relate to some of the problems they have, I totally by that they are in love, and their parenting style is realistic.  They get in fights, they make mistakes with each other and their kids.  All in all the best couple on TV for me.

Movies-Another tough one…and even though it is my question I can’t pick just one.  So it is a toss up…Sigourney Weaver’s Ellen Ripley from the Alien movies or Linda Hamilton’s Sarah Conner from T2.  Ripely has more going for her in my book.  Yes, in the original she wasn’t all that, and in Aliens she screams for Hicks a WHOLE lot, but the ending of Aliens where she screams that iconic line (and if you’ve seen the movie, you know what I am talking about) makes up for a lot.  Linda Hamilton on the other hand, playes the classic damsel in distress in the original Terminator, though again at the end she came through, but T2 WOW!  Not only did Sarah Conner reinvent herself, but Hamilton did as well.  All in all, I just can’t pick both women kick some serious ass, so what’s not to love?!
