with all that is going on in Haiti, I am curious if you had the money, what charities would you support?

I gave a little bit to the Red Cross for the victims in Haiti…but I wonder what good $20 does?  Does it do any good?  If I had the resources, I wish I could do more.  Same thing when HUrricane Katrina devastated New Orleans.  We gave what we could to the Red Cross, but whatever we give always seems so insignificant.

If I had the money, I would want to do more for the foster care program, although that might need more time and people that care than money.  I adore my kids, I LOVE having them all home running around, and though they annoy me at time,  I wouldn’t have it any other way.  Adding two or three more kids to the mix wouldn’t make that big a difference, but space is an issue.  Our house is pretty big, but not that big!

I also would like to devote some time, and money if that was an option to the Make a Wish Foundation.  What they do for a terminally ill child is just amazing.

My grandmother died of a stroke, and we lost my aunt about a year ago to Cancer.  I would like to help programs that focus specifically on how they effect women.

In general, I just wish I did more to help those around me.  We have a wonderful life, and a happy family.  I would like to give a little back to those around me
