My kids… especially my youngest two.  My husband made a good point a few weeks ago.  When we were first married things were tight.  We were a young couple just starting out, our fixer upper home needed some work, and we didn’t have a lot of money to spoil the kids with.  Now that we are older and my husband is a bit more settled in his career we have a bit more wiggle room, and we like being able to buy the kids a new movie, or a small toy just because.  On the other hand, our five year old is SPOILED!  I don’t think he is entitled in that he thinks he deserves all he has, but it is hard for him to hear us say no when we go to the store, and he acts accordingly.  We really need to break him of that habit-especially because I don’t want our 2 year old picking up the same habits.
